How it works

EmploymentInHealthCare.Net is simply an introduction service which specialises in matching job seekers with employment opportunities in the medical, ancillary services and allied health fields. It makes matches based on qualifications, skills, experience and personal preferences. You can think of our service as a smart classified advertisement section in a newspaper.

Getting started

Whether a job seeker or a prospective employer, your first step is to set up a login on our members login page. Once you have logged in you can:

• create a job seeker's profile and check for matching advertisements, and;
• if you have a vacancy to fill, you can create an advertisement.

Very little personal information is required by EmploymentInHealthCare.Net to make the system work (see our privacy and security page) we believe that the experience should be very much like the classified advertisements in the newspaper. The advertiser gives as much information as they think necessary to attract an appropriate applicant and the job seeker remains anonymous to the advertiser until they choose to make contact.

If you are seeking employment in health care

Log in to your account and choose the "manage my profile" link. Here you can specify where you would like to work and what kind of work you are looking for (You can adjust your profile settings to provide a larger or smaller set of matching results). If there is a position which matches your requirements you will see them in a list on the "find employment" page. You will then be able to make contact with your prospective employer using the information in their advertisement.

If you don't find a match immediately don't worry - you can choose to be notified by an automatically generated email whenever a new vacancy is posted which matches your profile. You will then be able to review the details of the position on the "Find Employment" tab of your login page.

If you would like to advertise an opportunity for employment in health care

Log in to your account and choose the "advertise a position" link. Here you can provide some information to help a prospective employee to decide whether to apply for the position or not. You will be able to specify what you are looking for in terms of qualifications, experience, areas of specialty, etc.

Once your vacancy is advertised a notification is sent to all job seekers whose profile settings match your criteria. All you then have to do is wait to be contacted by an applicant.

How much does it cost?

Because we are not an employment agency there are no fees or commissions associated with a successful placement. Our role is simply to provide a means whereby people can make contact and decide for themselves what they have to offer each other.

It is our intention that using the EmploymentInHealthCare.Net service will be similar to the 'classifieds' section in the newspaper but cheaper, more effective, and significantly more convenient.

In order to provide a barrier to anonymous posting, we also charge a small membership fee via a secure transaction facility. This should result in a more useful service by discouraging those who might otherwise misuse it.

Every member gets one free advertising slot. But additional advertisements will involve additional fees. We believe that prospective employers/advertisers will find our advertising prices to be extremely competitive.
